Martha Tinkler is a cook-turned-writer who lives in Memphis with her small but important collection of youth-lit fantasy novels. When she is not sharpening her knives or nursing baby wrens back to life, Ms. Tinkler enjoys using puns, alliteration, and nonsensical turns of phrase in everyday conversation. Shockingly, she is single.
